Didn't affect the audio quality on mine. And I think you have to really mess it up, or the wires are damaged, for it to affect the audio quality, so I'd say this aspect is low-risk.

If you've soldered anything before, it's not that risky. But if not, then I get it. On the other hand, if you consider it "junk" anyway, then maybe worth the risk. 🙃

Since you mentioned indoors, I would say go with the Cinebot30. Still have it, still fly it (not always for slow cinematic cause it can also pick up some speed!). GoPro is no problem especially with a light 1100mah battery and Hero 11 mini. It can carry a full size GoPro but you'll feel the weight. It is powerful for the size, though I haven't flown it in strong winds. All this talk about weight won't be that much of a problem with the Cinelog35 but it is a bit bigger and more powerful, so windy situations are also fine. Some nimble finger skills could get you flying indoors with it too with enough practice.

Someone here in the comments said they tried that, and it was harder on the other side.

If you have some other old electronics board to practice soldering on, that might help. That said, sometimes it's just best to dive in headfirst :D

@@varidzain7468 Thumb 2 might be better but I haven't tried it. For exposure, you can fix the shutter and ISO so it doesn't keep changing.

@@varidzain7468 correct, a lot of cameras (including GoPros) have the option of setting a fixed exposure. The downside is if you get this wrong, you're video will either be too bright or too dark. The camera won't automatically adjust.

Guess I did! In my defense that usually is determined by the industry not the charger e..g Li-Ion is usually 4.10v max, LiPo is 4.20v, and LiHV is 4.35V, but I shouldn't have expected everyone to know that.

Yes, definitely. It's only in newer BF versions where you can change motor direction, so the steps in this video is how we've always done it.

I turned back too late. I thought 22V was enough to go back home, but it was already 6mins in, and in an earlier test a 1300mah LiPo could only go around 9 1/2 minutes.

Oh no! You might get by with CA glue or some other strong epoxy or glue you have available. But, as the plastic band experiences quite some stresses, not sure if it will last. Will hopefully give you a couple more good months though before it breaks again.
